Hana Asano was born in Los Angeles, and is the daughter of two immigrants from Japan who came to the United States in hopes of becoming jazz musicians. In her latter years, she was raised in Hawai’i.
As an artist, she combines her passion for movement and storytelling; meditating on each subject as a human being, first.
She currently splits time between Los Angeles and Barcelona.
